“My stay revealed well-appointed rooms, a comfortable bed being a consistent highlight, with the modern annex providing a quiet respite. The adjoining restaurant truly shines, particularly its Indian offerings which are both authentic and excellent value, complemented by genuinely obliging service. It strikes a pleasing balance, feeling both a proper country pub and a destination for a thoughtful meal.”
