“The historic building has been thoughtfully maintained, with rooms that genuinely feel steeped in character - think ancient beams and wonky floors - yet provide a comfortable, well-equipped retreat, even offering a pleasant view towards the cathedral. Comfort is clearly a priority, with very comfortable beds and ample amenities for a hot drink. While the continental breakfast is a simple, efficient affair, the pub below is noted for its excellent food, making for a solid value stay in a great location.”
